Questions, answered straight.

The things homeowners ask us most, about cost, timeline, permits, and what happens to your yard. Don’t see yours? Call us; we like questions.

Cost & quotes

It depends on pool size, removal method (full vs. partial), and how easily equipment can reach the pool. Rather than guess, we give you a firm, itemized written quote after a free on-site visit, and we stick to it.
Full removal means hauling away the entire shell and backfilling the whole cavity with engineered, compacted fill, more material, labor, and disposal. In exchange you get build-ready ground with no resale disclosure baggage.
No. Permits, locates, water discharge, demolition, haul-off, backfill, and final grade are spelled out in your quote. The only changes are ones you approve, for example, if we uncover an unexpected access or soil issue.

Timeline & process

Most residential removals run 2–5 working days on site once permits are in hand. Allow 1–3 weeks beforehand for permits and utility locates.
Yes. We pull the demolition (or grading/excavation) permit and schedule USA utility locates as part of every job. You don’t deal with the city.
For the first walk-through and the final handover, we’d like you there. In between, we coordinate access and keep you updated with photos, you don’t have to babysit the site.

Your yard, after

Not when it’s backfilled correctly. We place clean fill in measured lifts and compact each one, then document it. Improper backfill is the #1 cause of settling, and the #1 reason to hire a pro.
After a full removal with proper compaction: yes, lawn, garden, patio, ADU pad, or an addition. After a partial removal, you can landscape but generally shouldn’t place a structure directly over the fill.
Decking, equipment pads, pumps, and heaters can all be removed and hauled off. We’ll scope exactly what’s included in your written quote.

New pools & excavation

We don’t install pools, we’re the excavation crew. We dig to your pool builder’s plan and prep the site. If you don’t have a builder yet, we’re glad to refer reputable local ones we’ve dug for.
Often, yes. Tight side-yard access and slopes are exactly the kind of thing we plan around. We’ll assess it on site and tell you honestly what’s possible.
Yes, grading, drainage, trenching, foundation digs, demolition, lot clearing, and ADU site prep for homeowners, contractors, and light commercial sites.
